In the age of the smartphone, distracted driving is becoming a major problem on our roads. Penna Powers was challenged to come up with a series of TV spots to raise awareness of the issue. The campaign included complicated visual effects, so they turned to Savvy Productions to make those spots a reality. The Savvy team collaborated with Penna Powers to determine exactly what was needed to make the spots truly memorable. Using visual effects wizardry, Savvy replaced wording on practically filmed signs and simulated a car crash amongst other things. But it wasn’t enough just to create realistic visuals. Through editing, Savvy created additional emotional elements that were essential to get the message across.
