Savvy Productions Goes Big: Jumbotron Graphics at the Delta Center
There’s something pretty awesome about seeing something you created on a giant screen…
But seeing it on the jumbotron at the Delta Center during a Utah Mammoth playoff game?
Yeah... that’s a whole different level of movie magic.
Savvy Productions had the opportunity to create graphics for Sinclair that were featured on the Utah Mammoth’s jumbotron in Salt Lake City. And getting to see our work come to life in front of a packed arena during the playoffs was rad. The Utah Mammoth made their first-ever NHL playoff appearance in 2026, bringing an incredible amount of energy to the Delta Center. So naturally, we were pretty excited to see some Savvy graphics become part of the action.
From Our Studio to the Big Screen
We love creating videos, commercials, motion graphics, and animations, but there's something special about arena graphics. Everything has to be big, bold, and easy to understand - all in a few short seconds. And when you're putting graphics on a massive jumbotron in front of thousands of hockey fans, subtle isn't always the name of the game.
We designed the graphics for Sinclair with that environment in mind, creating visuals that could grab attention and fit right into the excitement of game night.
Then came the really fun part...Seeing them actually play in the arena.
A Pretty Cool Place to See Your Work
The Delta Center is home to both the Utah Mammoth and the Utah Jazz. It hosts more than three hundred events every year! We've created graphics for multiple arenas and venues over the years, but there's still something surreal about sitting in the stands, looking up at that enormous screen, and suddenly realizing: "Hey...we made that!"
That's one of the reasons we love what we do. A project can start with a blank screen in our South Jordan studio, turn into hours of designing, animating, editing, and refining behind the scenes, and eventually end up towering over an arena full of screaming hockey fans.
-That's a pretty bodacious journey.
We Love Making Big Things
Whether we're creating a commercial, motion graphics, animation, training video, or graphics for a major sporting event, we're always looking for ways to make the final product stand out. And getting to see our work at a Utah Mammoth playoff game was definitely one of those moments we'll remember.
