Cinematic DI Commercial Series
Savvy Productions partnered with Rumor Advertising to develop a series of 30 and 15-second broadcast commercials highlighting a local non-profit thrift store called Deseret Industries.
Overview
The DI, as it is locally known, among many things, operates a series of donation-based resale stores along the Utah Wasatch Front. Their message is simple: “No matter who you are, you can always find something truly wonderful at their stores. You can find treasures here.”
The Process
Rumor and Savvy Productions wanted to tell the stories of four different items purchased at Deseret Stores and illustrate the impact they had on their new owners. That journey of an object being discarded, then rediscovered only to be enjoyed and cherished by its ability to bring people together was told through four different short commercials. We had a blast shooting these little stories and we’re very proud of the end products.
