Bodacious Careers, Radical Videos, and a Whole Lot of Movie Magic

Some projects are fun.

Some projects are meaningful.

And every once in a while, you get a project that's both…

We recently wrapped up an awesome production with our friends at Rumor Advertising for the National Energy Foundation, and it was one of those projects that reminded us why we love what we do.

The goal was simple: help high school students discover the exciting career opportunities available in the energy sector.

The challenge?

Make those careers feel as exciting as they really are.

Challenge accepted…

Instead of creating traditional career videos, the creative team came up with a fun concept that connected exciting hobbies with real-world energy careers. The result was a series of videos designed to show students that many of the skills, interests, and adventures they already love can lead to rewarding careers they may never have considered.

For example, if you love rock climbing, you might have what it takes to become a lineman. Both require confidence, problem-solving, physical ability, and a willingness to work high above the ground.

It was a creative way to help students see themselves in these careers while making the information more memorable and engaging.

And honestly, who doesn't love the idea of turning a passion into a profession?

Lights, Camera, Green Screen!

The entire production was filmed at our South Jordan video production studio, which gave us the flexibility to create multiple environments without ever leaving the building.

Our green screen studio became the launchpad for all kinds of visual storytelling. One minute we were talking about career paths, and the next we were creating dynamic backgrounds and graphics designed to capture attention and keep viewers engaged.

Having our own studio space allowed the team to move efficiently, stay creative, and focus on bringing the concept to life.

We also put our professional teleprompter to work, helping talent deliver their lines confidently and naturally. When you're filming educational content, keeping the delivery smooth and engaging makes a huge difference, and the teleprompter helped everyone stay focused on connecting with the audience.

Working with Great Partners

One of the highlights of the project was collaborating with the talented team at Rumor Advertising.

Great creative partnerships make all the difference.

Everyone came to the shoot with the same goal: create something that would resonate with students while showcasing the opportunities available in the energy industry. From pre-production planning to the final shoot day, it was a true team effort.

Projects like this are a reminder that the best ideas happen when creative people come together, build on each other's strengths, and have a little fun along the way.

Inspiring the Next Generation

What made this project especially meaningful was its audience.

These videos weren't just about careers.

They were about possibilities.

Many students are still figuring out what they want to do after graduation. By connecting exciting hobbies with real-world jobs, these videos help open doors and introduce career paths they may not have considered before.

The energy sector is filled with incredible opportunities, and the National Energy Foundation is doing important work to help students understand what's possible.

We were honored to help bring that message to life…

Creating Movie Magic in South Jordan

As a Utah video production company, we love helping organizations communicate important messages in creative ways. Whether we're filming on location across the state or creating content inside our South Jordan studio, our goal is always the same: make information engaging, memorable, and fun to watch.

This project checked all the boxes.

A creative concept.

An awesome client.

A talented agency partner.

A radical studio setup.

And a message designed to inspire the next generation...plus it won a Telly Award.

That's the kind of movie magic we can get behind.

A huge thank you to Rumor Advertising and the National Energy Foundation for trusting us with this bodacious project. We had an absolute blast bringing these videos to life and can't wait to see the impact they have on students throughout Utah and beyond.
