Chasing Sunrises, Stars, and Big Dreams at Open Sky
Some video shoots are memorable because of the story.
Others are unforgettable because of the location.
This project was both.
Our crew packed the gear and headed to Open Sky, an incredible luxury glamping destination in Virgin, Utah, just minutes from Zion National Park. If you've never been there, imagine waking up to breathtaking red rock cliffs, wide-open skies, and views that make you stop and say, "Wow."
It's one of those places that reminds you why people travel from all over the world to experience Southern Utah.
For this project, we partnered with our friends at CCFBank to tell a story that's about much more than financing….

Every successful business starts with an idea. For the owners of Open Sky, that idea was creating a one-of-a-kind luxury camping experience where guests could disconnect from the everyday and reconnect with nature. They had the dream—but finding a banking partner who truly understood that dream wasn't easy.
That's where CCFBank stepped in.
Instead of seeing just another loan application, they saw the potential. They understood the vision, believed in it, and helped turn an ambitious idea into the incredible destination guests enjoy today.

To capture the magic of Open Sky, our production schedule revolved around something filmmakers are always chasing—the perfect light.
Our mornings started long before most people were awake. As the first rays of sunlight crept over the towering cliffs surrounding Zion National Park, we were already rolling cameras and flying our drone, capturing one breathtaking shot after another. There's something special about Southern Utah at sunrise. The colors change by the minute, and for a few magical moments, everything seems to glow.
Then, just when everyone else was winding down for the evening...
We were still filming.
We stayed well into the night, capturing stunning sunsets before setting up for time-lapse shots of the stars stretching across Utah's famous dark skies. Watching thousands of stars slowly appear overhead while our cameras quietly worked was one of those filmmaking moments that reminds us why…
We love what we do!
Of course, incredible scenery only tells part of the story…
Throughout the production, we filmed interviews with both the Open Sky team and CCFBank, giving viewers a firsthand look at how a shared vision and the right partnership helped bring this remarkable destination to life. Hearing the passion behind the project made every sunrise alarm and late-night shoot worth it.
One of the things we enjoy most as a Utah video production company is helping businesses tell stories that feel genuine. This wasn't just about showcasing beautiful glamping accommodations or spectacular views. It was about showing what's possible when people believe in an idea and work together to make it happen.
Projects like this also remind us why Utah is such an incredible place to film. Within just a few hours of our South Jordan studio, we can be surrounded by towering mountains, red rock cliffs, alpine forests, or wide-open desert landscapes. Every corner of the state offers a completely different backdrop, and Open Sky might just be one of our favorites.
