Rolling Cameras in Eureka, Utah: Small Town, Big Story

One of the biggest perks of being a Utah video production company is getting to explore every corner of this incredible state—not just the places everyone has heard of.

Recently, our crew hit the road with our friends at Penna Powers to film an important mine safety campaign in Eureka, Mammoth, and Silver City. These historic mining communities are packed with Utah history, dramatic landscapes, and stories waiting to be told. They also served as the perfect backdrop for an important message: Stay Out, Stay Alive....not out of the town but out of the abandoned mines :-)

The campaign raises awareness of the dangers of abandoned mines. While they may look like interesting places to explore, they can be extremely dangerous. During filming, we had the opportunity to see these sites up close, and it didn't take long to understand why this message matters. At one point, Utah was home to an estimated 17,000 abandoned mine openings, making education and awareness incredibly important.

One thing we love about filming across Utah is that no destination is ever too small.

Some production companies spend most of their time filming in larger cities like Salt Lake City or Provo. We love those places too, but some of our favorite productions have taken us to communities that many people simply drive past.

Eureka is one of those places…

In fact, we've filmed there so many times over the years that we've made it our mission to try every restaurant in town. (Let's just say we're firm believers that great video production runs on great food.) Whether we're grabbing breakfast before an early call time or celebrating a successful shoot after the cameras stop rolling, finding a local favorite is always part of the adventure.

That's one of the things we enjoy most about traveling throughout Utah. Every town has its own personality. Every community has its own story. And every production gives us a chance to discover another hidden gem—whether it's an incredible filming location, a breathtaking view, or a restaurant we'll definitely be coming back to.

Being based near Salt Lake City doesn't mean we only work along the Wasatch Front. Our crew regularly travels throughout the state, filming everywhere from bustling downtown streets to remote mountain roads, historic mining towns, and wide-open desert landscapes. Whether your project takes us to St. George, Logan, Moab, Richfield, Vernal, Eureka, or somewhere in between, we're always excited to hit the road.

That's one of the advantages of working with a Utah video production company that's spent years filming across the state. We know the roads, understand the logistics, and love helping clients find locations that bring their stories to life.

We're grateful to Penna Powers for trusting us to help share such an important message. Projects like this remind us that videos can do more than tell a story—they can help keep people safe.

And if the next production sends us back to Eureka...

Well, we might just have to revisit one of our favorite local restaurants. You know...strictly for research purposes.
